Magic in the Water - Plus Two! - wet finishing handwovens

Wet finished Blanket I have been privileged to be involved with textiles all of my career, many years with some giants of the industry and can recall annual production of a mills’ seasonal layout publication of the type Laura produced in "Magic in the Water". In the early years of my career I recall mills having complete sampling departments (people and equipment) devoted to producing that type of publication for internal use, the contents of which were guarded like the gold in Fort Knox. Few were more complete or contained more vital information than "Magic in the Water". In my opinion the book is as necessary for the newbie as the experienced weaver. And every Library, Guild and public, should have it available. Tom Beaudet, Textile Engineer, Retired
