It seems to be a bit strange to have had to move my blog from place to place, but here I am, about to embark on learning another ‘new’ (to me) platform!
OTOH, that is Life, after all? Changes? Encountering issues that become unsustainable, trying to find a way forward, even if it means needing to take a detour?
I am of two minds if I float the posts I made at my ko-fi site to here, and for the time being, I am going to just leave them parked there. To help people transition to this site, I may use the blog function at ko-fi to point people to come here.
I am not entirely sure about this platform yet – if I can generate an alert to anyone signing up, if I can tag posts and have the post be searchable. I could ‘tag’ posts in ko-fi but with no search function (that I could find) the posts were not searchable given the tags, anyway. I confess Blogspot spoiled me just a bit. And it was comfortable like an old pair of shoes since I’d been using it since oh – it just dawned on me – about this time in August 2008 when I started it. Life doesn’t repeat, but spirals? Much to learn.
Anyway, today was a quiet day, mostly. I’m still in a lot more pain than I would like, but I start pain reprocessing next Tuesday. I will be contacting the pain clinic to see about another injection in my back. I swear the dental appointments this summer really did a number on my back, plus I have one more coming up on Sept. 28. Oh well. I still have my own teeth, and that’s something.
But I hit a goal today – I nearly used up the green to weave the ‘last’ place mat in that colour. I would have pushed to the end, but my back was protesting. And it just wasn’t worth it to weave for another 10 minutes to say ‘done and dusted’ just yet. Tomorrow will be soon enough.
Too old soon, too late to wisdom? What can I say? I am a work in progress…
(scurries off to hit publish and see what happens….)

Hello there! Following you to your new blog home. Of course!
Hi, I always enjoy your posts for their thoughtful and wise content. Thanks for all you do. I hope “they” can do something to help with your pain issues. Take care.
Congratulations!
You made it successfully to this new platform!
And – because of time zones – when you read this, the green yarn is history, congrats on this too.
