One week!

I’m getting ‘butterflies’ – as I usually do – when the time comes to do a presentation. Usually I don’t start gearing up the butterfly squadron so soon, but what the hey, it’s been a while since I did one (last Jan/Feb, to be exact).

I’m excited to be able to talk about the things I am passionate about. Things I feel the weaver who wants to ‘know’ stuff should know. To encourage them to think beyond what is right in front of them, and look deeper. See what is actually happening. Identify issues, think through how to address them.

Above all, to encourage them to learn, explore, expand their knowledge.

The seminars are not a ‘learn how to weave’ program, but a ‘learn about what is subtle, not obvious’ gander at the craft. I love to share what I know with others who want to learn.

And frankly, given current events, I very much want to share what I know to as many who want to learn.

Life is never a straight forward journey. There are always detours, bad roads, sometimes catastrophic weather. The more we know, the better prepared we can be when things go pear shaped.

The sun is shining, the sky is blue. My office is all set up ready for next week. This week is ‘busy’ with personal ‘maintenance’ most days. But I am hoping I will still be able to get to the loom, too.

Above all, keep moving. Because as Winston Churchill allegedly said: When you are going through hell, keep going…
