Website

Depending on how you access my blog, you my find that my website has been tweaked. If you follow the link I provide on various social sites, you may not be aware of the resources on my website.

Yesterday my web wizard updated features for the blog. It now has a search button on the blog page and you can type in a word, or scroll through the labels/topics and click on those. Check publication dates because the search button will post the same one several times, probably depending on how many times I used the label as text in the body of the post. Just scroll on by the duplicates. They are pretty obvious.

I try to remember to include the link for comments, then check on them later in case of questions.

On my website home page, there are now links to Blurb for my books I sell there, plus a link to ko-fi. I don’t know if the new website has a ‘subscribe’ feature, but you can ‘follow’ me on ko-fi and then I think ko-fi will send a notice when I post a new blog. If it doesn’t, let me know and I’ll stop ‘selling’ the site as an easy way to find out about my posts.

In addition to that, there is now a link to School of Sweet Georgia if you are interested in the 4 classes I did for them.

There are also pages – Quotes contains some interesting quotes I wanted to share. There is a short bio of my brother. I think there is a list of the seminars that I do, although I need to double check that. Plus info on the warping valet.

And yes, I will seriously look at repeating the seminar series in the new year. I’m just trying to focus on rehabilitating my body. Because I need it to be more functional in order to keep weaving…

My email address by default is laura at laurafry dot com

Replace the at and dot with appropriate symbols – I’m trying to avoid sharing that email with bots. But I am happy to answer (or try to) weaving questions.

Today is a typical ‘autumn’ day – a bit chilly, a bit dreary, with trees wearing their finest hair do’s before they drop their leaves and prepare for winter. Which is absolutely coming.

This Sunday/Monday is Canadian Thanksgiving. I will be happily talking about weaving on Sunday. I’m hoping to be dressing the loom with the next warp on the Monday. We’ll see if I manage to get this warp off the loom by Saturday…
